Rare is the book series I can’t put down or just quit reading after one or two books. But not The Celtic Blood Series. The story started a bit slow and was somewhat confusing at first and then midway through the story lines began to interweave and I was hooked!Strong female characters. Would make a great movie.
This series has pulled me through! The visuals it spins in your mind’s eye and the tension of the it is just right! I would have given this five stars, however, this particular book is full of copy editing errors. At first it was easy to let it go, but it does become a distraction after so many occur. I hope when the next edition or hard copy is put forward that it is given a bit of a brush up so as not to mentally shift the reader away from the story’s wonderful arc.
I loved this third book! Although I didn’t think the first book was great, I did like the second book, this third book was great, I couldn’t wait to finish it, to see Gruoch get her revenge! It was satisfying! These books make for an interesting quick read. I recommend them, especially if you are between books in other series, as I am. This series reeled me in!
But, I am left wanting. What happens next? Cerridwen, Banquo, MacBeth, Lulach, Crearwy, Madelaine, Tavis...this cannot be the end of this tale. It must not be. Ms. Karsak finish your grand story, don't let these characters go unfinished. Your readers beseech you. We must know. There must be happiness in the end.
I cannot wait for book 4. This series has been one of the best. I will be very sorry when the series is over.
Brilliantly fast-paced from beginning to end., A great telling of this tale continues here with an explosive ending. You will not be disappointed. Can't wait to get to book four.
I enjoys this book and series. I’m not usually a fantasy reader, but I thoroughly enjoyed the historical fiction combined with the fantasy elements!
This was such a good one. The first book was engaging, the second book pulled me in, this third book had me enthralled, how long will I have to wait for the fourth??
